Jewelry Gallery - Beryl Ann Byrd - Photographer

Fine Art Jewelry Collection

When I first added the Jewelry gallery to this site, I hadn"t planned on it staying here for this long. 3 years? Oh my how time flies.  As it so happens, over the past year I have changed my creative direction and gone back to my roots.  I re-learned the Cloisonne technique that I had loved so much and am now phasing out my assemblage pieces.  I will be offering a HUGE price reduction (50%!!!!) on my remaining inventory so if you are interested in something you see here, let me know via text or e-mail. This is a great opportunity to snap up one of those fun, quirky pieces you may have coveted.

All my new pieces will still be one of a kind, but the emphasis will be on fine silver Cloisonne and Champleve, incorporating my signature style of adding movement with raw gems, beads and wired objects. I will still occasionally use Viking Knit chains for some pendants but more often cable and snake chain.

The metals I use are fine silver, Argentium silver, Sterling silver, 14k, 18k, and 24k gold.

Commissioned pieces are most welcome.   Feel free to e-mail (Contact Page) me with questions about costs and options.

Frida Kahlo Inspired Mixed Metal Assemblage Choker Necklace

Frida Kahlo Inspired Mixed Metal Assemblage Choker Necklace

Inspired by the artist, Frida Kahlo, this neck piece is a celebration of life exploding with color, symbolism and movement. The beautiful supporting chain is silver colored, hand made Viking knit wire. Each charm like piece moves freely and creates a lovely, jingling sound. Brilliant red glass hearts, colorful ceramic and metal skulls, clear glass "tears" on fine 14k gold chain, full blown red and turquoise resin roses, silver filigreed hearts and spacer beads, resin crosses, blood red glass and bicone crystal beads. The center piece is a stunning cloisonné pomegranate with 24k gold wires and "seeds", set in sterling silver.
Although Frida was the inspiration, you might consider this as a Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) reference, as well.
